Biography

Abiola Joseph Azeez is a doctoral candidate in AI ethics at the University of Ottawa with specialization in responsible AI and policy. His research emphasizes enhancing AI for regional contexts, AI governance, and responsible AI design. He has participated in global projects, including contributions to Interpol-UNICRI's Responsible AI toolkit for law enforcement. Areas of expertise include AI governance, interdisciplinary AI ethics approaches, and AI applications in the Global South. He has authored multiple collaborative peer-reviewed publications.
