Daniel Thorp is a Software Engineering student at the University of Ottawa. His research with CRAiEDL focuses on ethical requirements engineering for AI. His interests span engineering, digital policy, and the governance of emerging technologies in the public interest. He brings experience in full-stack development and DevOps, as well as nonprofit and student governance and hackathon organizing.
