Michael Thompson is pursuing an honours degree in Computer Science at the University of Ottawa, completing his honours project at CRAiEDL researching the ethical engineering of artificial intelligence and robots. He has completed multiple co-op positions with Immigration, Refugee, Citizenship Canada, Ford Motors, and Morgan Stanley, concentrating on data management and software development. His academic interests center on machine learning, artificial intelligence, and their societal implications.
